The Story Of My life
It was probably 5th grade I had always had a way to get in the groups with the trouble kids. I chilled with them for a couple of years nothing seemed bad.As we got older the homies I chilled with where a couple of years older than me started to get involved with the local crew. Time went by and I started to meet more of them. Yet to this day those things that happened 6 years ago still try to affect my present.

The World Today 10/17/19
This will be a different post it will be the point of live I see you can call it my own newspaper or my journal. Today I was listening to some songs that a teacher once played for us it talked about so many injustices in the song. The struggle African Americans went through to eradicate the Jim Crow laws the injustice that was going on. We forget the Brown Berets, The Black Panthers, and the Kennedys. Race has always been a problem no, not the race but the attitudes towards the differences. All those people that fought to change this issues don't get enough recognition. After all their hard work and sacrifices for the future generations we disappoint them. Some gave their lives to assure our future the least we could do is make their efforts and sacrifices worth it. We have becomes so familiar with hate crimes and constant fighting that if we hear of a shooting due to a hate crime we will just gasp for a second than get back to our daily basis. What is there to expect from the future generations if they are growing in this environment. Maybe well have to speak out again and you can call this my contribution to the greater cause because I don't want my kids to look at me and ask why I didn't do anything when the harmony was breaking.

The Unrecognized Hero
Yesterday after school it was just another day. The only difference was me and my sister had to go turn in her application at Subway. I was kind of hungry so I wanted some snacks me and my sister walked to big lots we where gonna keep going straight to cross at the light but something made me want to go by Stowell and cross at the crossing point to get to Thornburg where we would get picked up. As we walked by JC Penny I turned to my right and I saw a man sitting in his white Mercedes-Benz he was wearing a WW2 Veteran Cap. I stopped told my sister to wait for me she wondered what I was up to. I went up to the drivers side where he was sitting down reading a book, I said hi he looked up and smiled and said hello. I asked him if he was a veteran he said yes I was a sergeant. I smiled and shook his hand and said,"Thanks for your service I appreciate it." He looked at me and I don't know if it was the sun that gave his eyes look watery he smiled and said thanks for your recognition. It seemed like maybe not that many people have said that to him so if you ever run into a veteran specially a war veteran you should take the time to thank them don't let them go as a unrecognized hero.

The value of my time
Time is what we need or at least I need more time.I don't have time to do my own things my classes stress me with the time lines the expectations everyone expects. With everyone constantly being on you because of your past mistakes I don't have much time on my hands to do any of this my blog posts are always at night my math homework stresses me out I in general don't have time to memorize a poem or print out things or do the posts on time but when I do I try to make it worth while. I know that we need English but I don't have much time in school to do all the work I need to. I know that in the future I am need to be more on task and it will be harder but `I will actually be able to manage my own time not somebody telling me will come back later you can do that when you get back.

How We Read
This piece of writing really did stand out to me because he isn't like all the other pieces we are forced to read with our ordinary English teachers. Here he combines art and explains reading in a different way. Not to many times we get a English teacher who is willing trying to teach using different methods that somehow involve English Learning. He included a video that has a lot of different meanings and has a comic relive but also has a essential message that good writing cannot be measured in a scholar way but with the meaning of the writing piece.

Something New but old
Yesterday as I was on the highway many things came rushing in my head. My dad said I remember when I was in New York I was watching a movie about LA and I never though I'd be driving in this streets. It brought back somethings from me, when I was little I watched documentaries a lot and when I was young I though racism only was seen in Germany. We fought a war that started because of racial conflicts yet we couldn't fight our own racism here in the USA I don't know I just thought this would be worth posting.
Vocabulary
Allusion this word seemed important to me because of political cartoons I've seen the picture gives clues to edge to something else very different.
In this cartoon it hints the people who protested in Charlotesville in August 11-12 in 2017.
Myth is also another word I am really fond to because in elementary we would learn about the Greek Gods and Myths in stories.
Symbolism is also another great thing or word because we use symbolism for almost anything specially when we from groups to try to change something.

This 2 sings are commonly known in America the closed fist symbol for equality the German cross with the KKK this symbols affected our history and still do today.
Characterization is another word I really like because it shows what the characters are like and gives them that touch that can make a movie or buck interesting.
In the movie The Hitman's Bodyguard the character named Darius Kincaid has a fun and just layed back personality that makes the movie interesting and it has a comic relive from his dark past.
Personification is also another word I really like because we use it on our day to day basis when we describe something we really like such as a car. People who really love their car will say she is a beauty even though the car doesn't have a gender.
Theme I believe is something worth writing about because it is important theme is the message from a book or movie that usually tend to be true in the real live and worth being themes in stories or movies.
Tone would also be a word worth describing because this can come in handy during a debate or argument because if you want to show how bad something is you won't talk in a cheerful way you'd probably express sadness and disapproval of something.
Hack is a interesting word because it can be both good or bad depending what people associate the word with. In the article we read Conscious of a Hacker we see a different perspective that we usually don't associate with it.
To me these are the only words that really catch my attention.
